Every year, HOST will have two parts

2. Finals

STEPS to participate in HOST 2020

School Signup (Deadline: December 6th,2019 )Click to Register

Once Schools signup, our team will reach out to school to brief them about the program and guide them to complete membership fee payment

Membership fee payment (Deadline: December 13th,2019 )

Schools can choose one of the 4 plans

Based on the number of students going to participate, school can collect membership fee of Rs.300 per student. From that Rs.50 can be retained by the school as an honorarium. Balance Rs.250 per students can be sent to our account through DD, Cheque or online payment.

Student Registration (Deadline: December 13th,2019)

After the payment has been approved, each school will receive login id to their dashboard where they can upload participants details

Round 1 - Online Assessment (Starts from December 2nd,2019)

Once participants details are uploaded, access for the school will be given to conduct online test in their respective computer lab. Out technology team will assist computer lab teachers and help them setup the online assessment for the students

Results for the online assessment will be available in the respective school dashboard within 3 working days of exam completion of all the grades

Top 25% of the respective school participants will move to the second round

Round 2 - STEM Challenge Round (January 2020)

Students selected for round 2 will be invited to participate in STEM challenge round as teams which will happen in HOSTx Regional Centre. Top 15% of the participants from respective schools will move to the finals

State Finals (Finals date will be announced once school reopens Till then, be part of our Home Edition Stay Home, Stay Safe, Stay Engaged)
Finalists will now be eligible to be part of a 3 days residential camp at Velammal Knowledge Park. One teacher from each participating school can accompany with students.

Finalists will have to pay Rs.2500 towards stay, food and material expenses. (students need not buy or bring any materials other than things listed below)

Once paid, following materials will be delivered to schools
- ID Card
- T-Shirt
- Finals Resource Book
- Venue Map
